DELTA COMMUNITY ACTION ASSOCIATION is seeking qualified applicants for the following positions:
1. Family Service Worker – Duty Station: Tallulah, HS/EHS Center.
With guidance from the HS/EHS Center Supervisor and Content Area Managers, is responsible for all family partnership agreements, parent involvement across all areas of HS, health/health education, nutrition, child development/ education, mental health education, community advocacy, transition practices, home visits and disabilities services (including access to community services and resources).
2. Teacher – Duty Station: Tallulah, HS/EHS Center.
Responsible for teaching preschool children’s basic concepts of natural and social studies, science, health, mental health, nutrition, creative art, language, literacy, math, social and emotional development, cognitive, and physical development, music, and play and exploration. Direct and coordinate all activities for assigned classroom. Apply effective teaching practices, rules and procedures to classroom activities and to resolution of related problems.
3. Early Head Start Caregiver – Duty Station: Tallulah, HS/EHS Center.
Duties include planning an appropriate infant/toddler learning environment and coordinating and executing a program of responsive care and learning for infants and/or toddlers, including those with special needs, over the course of the children’s enrollment.
4. Bus Driver/Custodian – Duty Station: Tallulah, HS/EHS Center.
Responsible for performing regular, on-going duties designed to promote cleanliness, safety, and efficiency within Head Start facilities in accordance with departmental procedures, methods, and policies.
